Charis Koh is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of movement. Over the past 12 years, she has dedicated herself to sharing the love of movement through teaching groups and coaching individuals on a personal level. With a client-centric approach, she not only trains people but also empowers them with the tools and knowledge to take control of their own physical health and fitness goals.
One of Charis's core beliefs is that movement is for everyone, regardless of age or starting point. She firmly believes in the inclusivity of movement, and she enjoys working with absolute beginners who are embarking on their own movement journey. Whether it's coaching for better performance in activities like climbing, dancing, or playing tennis/golf, or providing post-injury rehabilitation and managing long-term physical health conditions such as Scoliosis and Osteopenia, Charis is dedicated to helping individuals move with greater ease, fluidity, and confidence.
Charis emphasises that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to movement and healing. Having experienced similar results through various methods, she believes that it is a matter of choice and precise timing. She is committed to journeying with individuals on their healing path, discovering more about themselves in the process.
Charis's approach to her work reflects her deep curiosity, open-mindedness, and grounding. She values authenticity and recognises the interconnectedness between disciplines and modalities. By exploring this relationship, she discovers practical and simple solutions to seemingly complex issues, acting as a bridge between science and art.
The collective wisdom of Charis's experiences is woven into everything she practices and offers to her clients through her platform, Hello Body. As she enters a new phase of her work, she aspires to guide and mentor aspiring Movement and Pilates teachers, sharing her 12 years of experience, acting as a guide, sounding board, and cheerleader. Together with them, she aims to uncover their unique wisdom and gifts, enabling them to make a positive impact in the world through this transformative work.
