Our goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle through practice of yoga and mindfulness. Classes are held in our studio space and online. Everyone is welcome to join our little community. Namaste was founded in 2013. by to best friends Phoebe and Milena. They both had previous experience as yoga instructors and decided to start Namaste in their hometown so they can teach others.
Yoga is one of the best ways to relax your body and you mind. Practising any type of yoga can decrease all kinds of threats to your health. Moreover, yoga can be very effective in developing coping skills and reaching a more positive outlook on life.
Having such variety of classes promotes movement diversity, which can train your body to be more intelligent beyond just one type of tool, and across tools. We want to make sure our classes are equipped for all levels and abilities, with modifications to suit every person. This creates a safe environment for you to get in touch with your body and explore your movement potential.
These equipments increase your proprioception, which is your body’s ability to sense movement, action, and location. Equipment provides resistance so that you can sense your body better in space, prevent overuse injuries, observe your body’s bias or imbalance, and make changes accordingly. When you’re moving by yourself, you won’t notice the bias within your movement (For eg, you may be right-leg dominant). The resistance from springs of an equipment can provide support and feedback, or increase challenge, when needed.
